I am currently working with Johnstown High School 8th and 11th grade students on job readiness skills. At the completion of our sessions we would like the students to job shadow at places that they are interested in. I have two 11th graders interested in becoming an athletic trainer or physical therapist and was wondering if there was an opportunity for them to observe at your facility. We are looking at the end of April, beginning of May. 11th Graders can do Mondays or Wednesdays 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm, Tuesday or Thursday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm or on Fridays 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Whatever day would work best for you and the time frame that you would like to host them. The student would be accompanied by a teacher from the school as well. In addition her daughter has recently started chemo (my fave little niece as I always … I was just out of hs and watched her after she was born and she was like my own)! Anyhow Tyes came around too fast and I realized I hadn’t called yesterday like I had planned. REALLY sorry about. Wld it be okay if I just signed up for the $40 monthly pass? I’m continuing all the exercises we do at therapy so I really think therapy isn’t going to help with the pain I continue to hv other than strengthening and I can do that on my own. Love all of you there and hate to think I’m completely giving up. There’s an additional issue that I’m not comfortable discussing. Again sorry for not calling yesterday.
